Focus:  Seniors: Go back and review the objectives and focus/closures that you missed while away....

Shutter Speed – shutter speed is the amount of time that the shutter is open.

Objectives:     Due today:  Aperture Contact Sheets (posted on blog)
  • Download images to your documents or flash drive
  • Rate images in Bridge (If Bridge is too slow, just skip the rating and use Photoshop for your contact sheet.
  • Create a contact sheet
  • Choose 6 (5 star) photos from each shooting location (12 photos total).  Edit & Color correct photos and post on blog (large size).  (Post Title: Aperture)

ClosureHow does shutter speed relate to film vs digital photography?

In film photography it was the length of time that the film was exposed to the scene you’re photographing and similarly in digital photography shutter speed is the length of time that your image sensor ‘sees’ the scene you’re attempting to capture.
